By using Deen Over Dunya ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Deen Over Dunya, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Deen Over Dunya is an Islamic lifestyle iOS application that provides prayer times, Qur'an reading, daily routine planning, and personal attention protection features. The app uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs to provide the Protection feature.

3. User Accounts

Sign-in is required for this iPhone release. Your account enables cloud sync across devices, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials.

5. Screen Time & Protection Features

The Protection feature uses Apple's FamilyControls and Screen Time APIs to manage app restrictions on your device. By enabling this feature, you consent to the app using these system APIs. This App Store release supports personal protection on your own device. You can disable the Protection feature at any time through the app's settings. Deen Over Dunya is not responsible for any disruption to app functionality caused by enabling Screen Time restrictions.

6. Release Scope

This App Store release is limited to Quran reading, prayer times and Qibla, routines, and personal protection. AI features, family protection, and managed-child workflows are not included in this release.

7. Content & Qur'an

Qur'anic text and translations are sourced from established and verified sources. We strive for accuracy but recommend cross-referencing with printed mushaf and recognised scholars for critical study.

English translation by Sahih International. Used for educational purposes. All rights reserved by the original publisher (Abul Qasim Publishing House).

Qur'an recitation audio in this app includes: Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary (Murattal), Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary (Mujawwad), Saad Al-Ghamdi, Mishary Rashid Alafasy, and Mohamed Siddiq Al-Minshawi (Murattal). Audio/timing datasets are based on the Quranic Universal Library (QUL) by Tarteel, and QUL credits EveryAyah.com and QuranicAudio.com for collecting and providing Quran recitations. Used for educational purposes. All rights reserved by the original reciters and/or their publishers.

8. Pricing & Subscriptions

Core features (prayer times, Qur'an reading, routines, protection) are available for free. Premium features may be offered through an optional subscription via Apple's In-App Purchase system. Subscription terms will be presented before purchase.

Any subscription fee is for Cloud Sync & Offline Database Maintenance and related infrastructure features, not for ownership or sale of Qur'an translation text.

Subscription fees are also not payment for ownership or licensing rights to Qur'an recitation audio recordings.

9. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, and content are the intellectual property of Deen Over Dunya. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Deen Over Dunya is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app, including but not limited to inaccurate prayer times or data loss.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
